The Freedom Tool floats in the tank drawing oil from the upmost layer; vapor intakes sit in the flash-zone just above the liquid level.
Original design thinking dates to work started in the early 1990s, before “VOC” and “greenhouse gas” were everyday terms on a lease. The job has grown: keep oil off water tanks, recover salable gas, and reduce fire risk.
- Closed-top stock tanks and produced-water (SWD) tanks
