How much of Texas disposal water goes through the biggest operators?
Short answer: from August 2024 to July 2025, the top 15 Texas disposal operators handled 48.3 percent of the 7.94 billion barrels injected statewide.

What does the chart show?
It ranks every Texas disposal well operator by how much water it injected over the last 12 complete months of H10 data, August 2024 through July 2025.
How concentrated is it?
Statewide, 7.94 billion barrels went into disposal wells. There were 1,586 operators with volume. The top 15 handled 48.3 percent, and 72 operators together handled about 80 percent.
Who counts as the operator?
The operator shown is the one currently listed on the well (the current P5 operator), not necessarily the company that did the injecting in the past. Only disposal wells are included.
Why does it matter to operators?
Most of the water moves through a short list of companies, and every one of those systems still ends at a tank battery.
What can you control at the tank?
Oil floating on top of the water in your tanks still leaves on a vacuum truck, and that costs you money every haul. The Freedom Tool skims that oil off inside the tank, captures richer vapors, and cuts down on vacuum truck trips. It has no moving parts. Contact us to see if it fits your site.
