What is the ExxonMobil Contingent Community, and how does Raise Limited fit in?

Short answer: it is a talent pool for temporary contract jobs at ExxonMobil, and Raise Limited is the company that actually employs the contractors.

What is the ExxonMobil Contingent Community?

It is a pool of people matched by skill to temporary contract openings at ExxonMobil. It is not a community investment program. Joining does not block you from applying for full time ExxonMobil jobs.

Who is the employer?

Raise Limited is the employer of record. You work on site alongside ExxonMobil staff, but Raise employs you, not ExxonMobil. The portal is exxonmobil.raiserecruiting.com.

What kinds of jobs come up?

Typical openings include engineering, geoscience, research, warehouse and recruiting support, often in Spring or Baytown, Texas, and some in Calgary. Assignments often run about a year. Pay is competitive and there can be a path to full time.

What are the tradeoffs?

The contractor gets access to ExxonMobil work and good contract pay, but not ExxonMobil employee benefits or stock, and the assignment ends. ExxonMobil gets flexible staffing without permanent headcount, at a higher cost per worker. Raise gets steady volume on a large account, but carries employer risk while ExxonMobil directs the work.

What can you control at the tank?

Oil floating on top of the water in your tanks still leaves on a vacuum truck, and that costs you money every haul. The Freedom Tool skims that oil off inside the tank, captures richer vapors, and cuts down on vacuum truck trips. It has no moving parts. Contact us to see if it fits your site.
